Common Name(s): Copper dna,copper dna,amino acid/nucleic acid complex,cellular regeneration active

CAS Number: N/a

DESCRIPTION

What It Does: Provides dna/rna repair substrate support alongside amino acid skin conditioning — the nucleic acid component supporting keratinocyte dna repair capacity while the amino acid provides keratin and sc protein conditioning.

Why It's Used: Nucleic acid-amino acid complexes provide dual-component delivery — the condensate formation between positively charged amino acids and negatively charged nucleic acids creates a co-delivery system where both components penetrate together more efficiently.

How It Works: Amino acid/metal cation complexation with dna/rna: cationic amino acids (arginine, lysine) or metal ions (ca²⁺, cu²⁺, zn²⁺) electrostatically condense negatively charged phosphate backbone → condensate nanoparticles with improved sc penetration. intracellular dissociation releases nucleotide monomers → salvage pathway → repair pool augmentation.

SAFETY & COMPATIBILITY

Safety Profile: Excellent safety profile. ewg score: 1.

Works Well With: Vitamin c,vitamin e,ferulic acid, spf, other antioxidants

Avoid Combining With: No significant incompatibilities

SCIENTIFIC NOTE

Dna/rna cosmetic ingredient safety: degraded nucleic acid fragments at cosmetic concentrations are gras as food components — the nucleotide monomers released intracellularly are identical to endogenous cellular metabolites.
