What It Does: Nourishes skin with omega-rich baru nut oil from the brazilian cerrado.

Why It's Used: Baru nut oil from the brazilian cerrado is rich in oleic (c18:1, ~52%) and linoleic (c18:2, ~27%) acids with high natural tocopherol content; provides excellent skin conditioning and antioxidant stability.

How It Works: High oleic acid provides emolliency and moderate penetration; linoleic acid supports barrier lipid replenishment; high tocopherol content (among the richest of tropical nuts) provides antioxidant stability and vitamin e activity.
