How It Works: Interfacial polycondensation: isocyanate (oil phase) + polyamine (water phase) react at the oil droplet surface forming a urea polymer shell. crosslink density controls wall thickness and rupture force. on friction, stress exceeds capsule fracture toughness and the shell fails catastrophically, releasing the entire fragrance payload instantly.
